5 assignments from college this week

It is for the Access to Nursing COurse, and I am only studying part time for it! HOw on earth am I going to get 5assignments completed by the end of half term. I have also got two bloody assignments from a Uni course I am doing as well!!

5! omg you wont be able to do that working round the clock 24hours! have you misjudged your timing for getting them in

I've got three for biology (my tutor is a s**t though, and as we missed on week cause the college was closed due to snow, he has given them to us all at the same time), one for sociology (2000 words though!) and a presentation to work through for sociology!!

I'm really enjoying the course, but getting really nervous about the coursework in uni!

is the biolgy stuff like homework or actual assignments?

I have just started my social theory module- what is yours about?

Biology are all assignments, pass or refer type thing! TBH, they shouldn't take to long, just find the "starting" part hard!

I don't have a clue on the sociology, I'll find the question for it (folder is in the car) and may have questions for you (as long as you don't mind!)

so are you on target for getting them all done? is the uni course an OU course,can you do that thingy where you miss an assignment and they give you the score averaged on your other assignments.i dont envy you

I'm studying for a social science Access course. During the half term I need to

-update four reflective journals
-complete a statistics assingment
-write 1500 essay x 2 for psychology
-write a counselling skills assignment
-study for a sociology exam I have on the Monday morning we return.

There's so much I can't even face starting it.

PLUS

I have an interview on Thursday for a university place

The dates for presentations (all of which count towards the degree) are allocated randomly by pulling form a hat- I got all mine (4) in three days the week after half term!!!!! And there are another 4 on top due before march 15th

If I can help with the Sociology I'm not bad at that (did AS level and also at nurse training) and i have a level biology, do e-mail me. Ditto Psychology Mia- did it at undergrad level last year (and it repays the kindness of another MNetter Filly who helped me with my ethics essay)

Ok, what social theories yhave you done? Do you want to oyutline every single one, or would you be better picking a few key ones (thats what I would do)

Clearly marxism is a HUGE one on this, I'll pop offf and find you a few others

Tiredemma try and get your hands on a copy of Sociology Themes and Perspectives (Haralambos and Holborn). There's a great section on there regarding inequality and health.

Also find the Anthony Giddens books very good for these types of essays.
