my 3 and a half year old son who was toilet trained six months ago has started to constantly leak into his pants. He just can't seem to hold on to the smallest amount of urine and I have to change him up to six/seven times a day.I know that chidren sometimes have accidents when they are concentrating on something but my son has constant leaking rather than one accident. Is this normal? Is he just being lazy? Or is it something more serious like a bladder infection? He seems to be getting worse.Any advice please?

ds went through a phase of only going after he'd passed a bit as he sometimes leaves it to long before going to the toilet. However if it is a constant trickle it may be an infection although I'd have expected to see othere symptoms such as temperature, soreness/pain etc. Can you get a sample to dr ?

Yes, I think I'll make an appointment, thanks.

My friend's dd had the same problem of constant leaking and they found that she had an infection. She's now on medication and much improved!
I hope it works out for you.
