Pram shoes?

Baby 9 month, not crawling yet but trying hard enough, so doesn't need "shoes" yet, but what do ppl think of "pram shoes" I'm just thinking only having socks on his little feet in this cold weather when we're out....I mean he's covered up but what do yous think?

I've never understood pram shoes. For me it's bare feet or socks until they are walking outside, then proper shoes.

H and M do fleece lined thinsulate booties that we found really useful, they're waterproof so windproof, perfect with socks underneath.

I have for my cruising 11 month old:

One pair or soft soled little leather baby shoes for wearing to cruise around in cold/dirty places (cafes etc)
One pair padded corduroy booty things that I put on him when he's being carried in the sling this weather. My feet would be cold in just cotton socks and his fleece snowsuit- I have woolly socks and fluffy lined boots!
One pair waterproof booties for the park for wearing with his waterproof snowsuit, playing with the leaves, sandpit etc.

My 11 month old isn't quite cruising yet outside of home, so he has a pair of waterproof fleece lined booties for out and about as I try to keep him off the floor as much as possible - he crawls and he's a thumb sucker so the thought of what goes into his mouth is not good... I hate having cold feet so I try and wrap his up!

Jojo Mamon sell thick baby socks with rubber pimples on the soles, which are also good.

I used to use them for DS as he wouldn't keep us docks on. My girls night so much, and DD2 hated them
