11yo dd has just discovered OOVOO is that what its called?
I think its basically face time but with numerous friends at one time....shes on there most evenings which is finea t least shes talking rather than typing!
My issue comes when I can here what they are saying....in her bed room where she thinks nothing canbe heard.
Nothing about killing people or sex but just the language she is using.....excuse me for being a baby here but I just don't like the fac they they are all saying things like ' what the hell?' all the time. I know there are a lot worse things she should be saying and she does know that shes not to speak like that around us ( hence the bedroom door private thing!)
Should I just leave her be? I have explained that I don't like it and that she should speak nicely or people will think shes not a very nice person but what they do around their friends is always different I know that!
advice please mumsnetters

The answer is yes.

I say "what the hell" on an hourly basis on some days. Often "helI" is replaced by the F word. I even said it whilst reading your post.

There's far worse she could be doing, leave her alone, don't ruin this for her.
