Does anyone write a daily journal? If so do you use a traditional diary or a blank notebook (capable of writing in a straight line) ?

I have a fb account but I want to write a journal for my kids to look back upon!

I've started keeping a bullet journal. It's flexible and I get to fill it in when I want without feeling guilty when I forget. I also started it as I wanted a paper record that I can look back at. Everything is online these days. It's nice to spend some time looking at physical paper and colourful pens, instead of another screen ;)
