4 day old baby question!

Did anyone else notice that their baby got much sleepier after their milk came in? My LO has been breast feeding nonstop since he arrived but since my milk came in yesterday he has been feeding in really short bursts (less than 10 minutes), less frequently, and he's basically slept all day today... just wondered if anyone recognised any of this? He's well and has wet and dirty nappies. X

When you say slept all day, how long is he going without feeds? Is your little one jaundice? At that age I would check with your community midwife.

Might he be a bit jaundiced? That can make them sleepy. Wil the midwife be visiting you today?

How is your baby today? Remember if you are worried during the night you can ring the birthing centre or maternity ward where you had your baby for advice.
