Kindle with wifi (?fire HD)

Thinking about getting my 11yo voracious reader DD one for C'mas. With a view to letting her use the kindle lending library ( my DH has Prince so think she can do this). Any negative experiences anyone? We can set up Parentsl controls at our BT hub. Can I also do this on her kindle?

Do you mean the kindle or the tablet? The tablet isn't that great as an e-reader so you'd be better with an actual kindle of its for reading

Amazon do an app called Free Time which lets you control what the DC can see.
