Does anyone use WAHM wraps all the time?

Just wondered, I've tried loads that look pretty and everything but always come back to Rikki wraps for reliability, fit and compatibility with nappies. I might use the prettier ones for showing off but IRL I don't actually use them.

I have 2 weenotions wraps which look sooo gorgeous but over time no longer manage an overnight use - to much wicking round the cuffs. But I can see they'll be fab in the summer. Still can't beat ME wraps

I used Poochies wraps for over a year with no problems and wool wahm wraps continuously as well.
Poochies are very similar in style to mother-ease airflow, I think one of the main things is there is quite a distance between the edge of the wrap and the edge of the nappy, which seems to prevent wicking.
Mind you having said that, we have had wicking between the poppers on airflows on very wet nappies.
As long as you lanolise the wool wrap and use felted wool for night you shouldn't have any problems.
Couche covers are lovely from Puddlepants nappies.

You could try spraying a waterproofing spray on to the inside of the wrap - like nikwax, or a wash-in waterproofer.
Also a short tumble dry on hot should help activate the PUL on wraps to improve the waterproofing.
I have read that the PUL fabric used in Fuzzis is also sprayed with a water-repellent spray.
Not sure about Mother-ease, but I would bet they do that with their PUL as well.

=========================================

This message is not quite right, polyester urethane laminated [sorry for spelling] is made from plastic, hot heat will make it melt - as some have found out in the past.

PUL is okay in tumble drier but on cool spin.

I have found that when i followed this information the pul wraps last longer.
