suggestions for hobbies at home

my kids are at stage where they dont need me every second of the day-but just in the background. I was wondering what other mums do in this time? i read but dont have a good book at minute but would prefer another hobby

I do cross stitch and embroidery. I also like to bake. Gardening is also relaxing if you have a nice day for it.
