My little girl keeps wearing what she used to wear at her dance class it's almost like a crop top and she likes to wear it for school but wants it on every single day and I have to wash it and she gets very upset if she can't wear it! She has vests but wants this other thing on! She's 7 by the way. When did your daughter start wearing crop tops?

Shelagh - dd1 was exactly the same for same reason. dd2 likes the skinny straps (go figure!)

Lexx Do your parents know you have made an account on here? I think at 11 you are too young to be using this site. Perhaps your mom could help you find a more suitable one.

As a mum of 2 girls (1 is 13 yr old, 1 is 9 yr old), the crops top issue is interesting - the now-13 yr old was adamant that she NEEDED a crop top at the age of 9 (she didn't, physiologically) and the currently-9 yr old could give a hoot.

BUT they both felt uncomfortable about the situation in their (small, rural) primary school whereby all kids - boys and girls - had to change for PE and other outdoor activities all together.

I don't have a problem buying extra underwear for my daughters but am thinking I may get a bit more vocal about the school's changing facilities.
