Child and working tax credits - single?

Hi everyone. So i have been award child and working tax credits, however on the form i did not include my partner as he does not work so he is getting 0 income (not even on benefits), so i left his name out (did not ask my martial status), and on the award letter they assumed i was single cos i left the "your partner if claiming as a couple" blank. Is that right? I dont want to be done for fraud accidentally, thats why im worried :/ thanks

It should be a joint claim, even if he is not working as you are a couple.

Ok going to ring them first thing and correct it

If you have included any childcare costs in your claim then that could be seen as fraudulent, as you will get help with childcare if you are single but not if you have a partner who doesn't work.

My partner works and I am a stay at home Mum. Ours was a joint claim. Sure it asks who lives in the household. Best correct it imo. They like to know everything! They weren't happy with me as I forgot to change my address for two months (my old address was my Mothers, so it's not like I wasn't getting any post.)
