Hi all - new to MumsNet and hoping for advice. We are awaiting the arrival of our second child. We our using the angelcare Ac1100 video and movement monitor with the 1st. We've been really happy with it and wanted to keep using but get another one for the second one for our new baby. But when I contacted angelcare they said they don't recommend having two digital ones from them because of the interference and pointed me to the analogue ones (which don't offer the video screen). They couldn't advise of other makes.

Does anyone use two digital video and movement monitors in the same house. Or know if one that works well with the Angelcare AC1100? Does two work okay - do you get interference from the two video/movement. We would have the handheld units both in our bedroom but the video units in different rooms. Thank you in advance www.mumsnet.com/emo/te/1.gif.pagespeed.ce.Pm7krOc06b.gif

I'm not sure if this is helpful but for various reasons we have ended up with an angelcare movement monitor in our dd's bedroom. They sell ones where there is no parent unit - just a sort of on/off switch in dd's room. The unit sounds an alarm if no movement detected.

We then also have a motorola vid camera with parent unit. If the angelcare alarm goes off, we would hear it via the Motorola monitor (and through the walls as well TBH, it's bloody loud!). Might work for you?
