What temperature is his room overnight?
In our house with that temperature id have mine in sleep suit and sleeping bag, no vest. Our house is about 16 overnight at the moment :)

Hope he gets better soon

It's usually about 20....but on the morning it gets down to 18 it's cool. God that's made me think I'm over heating him now!

We're about 16 here, dd is in a baby grow but sleeps in our bed, she normally has a vest but I've broken my wrist and can't get then on and off her Confused

20 or lower is when I swap to a 2.5 tog sleeping bag and he would normally have a vest on too if it was under 22. I like to be cosy in bed and I think it helps them sleep! I would probably just do sleepsuit and sleeping bag no vest or maybe long sleeved vest and sleeping bag if there temp was high. Mine would never sleep without a sleeping bag though so I always still had one on even if they were hot.

Their temp*

TheLegendOfBeans · 08/11/2016 18:29

If you are worried about his temp keep an eye on his hands. Chances are if he's cold his hands will be very mottled. As hands are an extremity and the weather has turned cold as hell a bit expect light mottling but really deep mottling means he's cold.

Mind you, he'll let you know when he's cold Wink

Yeah thanks, I wouldn't care I thought I was well into the whole safe temperature thing ha, my lo likes to be toasty and yeah it helps him sleep I think. I can never keep my eye off the monitor to start with now he's poorly im on hot bricks hate seeing him with that cough
