Am I just a terrible person

Have two dc's. One nearing end of primary, one just started. All I seem to do is moan at them. All I seem to say is no. And don't do that. And correct them. All I'd like is nice manners and happy children but they are hellbent on being whining ungrateful little sods. I am loving and kind too but it seems to be taken over by discipline at the moment and they are driving me round the bend. Will. This. Ever. End?????

Me too, I do remind mine everyday that even though I nag him and tell him off I love him more than anything.

Yes I have to tell mine too that I love them despite constant bloody nagging. Is this normal? Are children supposed to be like this?!!!

I have been in tears today feeling the same as you! I have a DD almost 7, DD almost 4 and DS 7 mo and absolutely dread the 2 hours in the morning before oldest goes to school and the 4 hours after school and nursery and weekends. As soon as my DDs are picked up from school/nursery the bickering, whining, hitting, rudeness starts. I literally hate the sound of my own voice. When the DDs are separated just with the baby they are like totally normal lovely kids. I hate that every day there is shouting and nagging. Just doesn't seem healthy but it means so much that other parents are struggling to 'parent' too. If you find a method that works please share!!

Oh bless you! Well you are not alone, and I completely agree about when they're separated and I have just one it's fine. There are days where I just want to ship them off somewhere where I can't hear them so I don't have to hear my voice!
