Does anyone have any experience...my DS is 8 and seems to shut down at times with school work, she is not struggling educationally but I know there is more she can offer. Her concentration goes and she plays the joker, getting into trouble. At home, if you sit with her you can steer her into doing the work and she does it very well....but needs reassurance at times. But when left to own devices a lot of the time it develops into a battle as she just will not sit and properly apply/concentrate on the task at hand.
