Neighbours and Real Nappies!!!!!!!

Wow - just be watching neighbours and there was sort of a plug for real nappies - Sky was using them on whatever her baby is called (don't normally watch it) and Harold was waving a nappy nippa around telling the other granny about them. Good old neighbours - perhpas I'll have to watch it more (thats my excuse anyway!!!)

I know it was so funny seeing a nappy nippa being waved about! there was even a fleeting debate of cloth vs. disposables!

I noticed this; thought it was good to see. Pity you don't get any of it on our own soaps.

They generally have cloth nappies around on neighbours - usually in the background though.

It would be a PITA for any mum on Eastenders cos everyone has to use to launderette

cause they have the fab weather to dry them quickly that makes them easier for us aussies to use

The baby's name is Kerry (after Sky's hippy mum)

Dp was a bit unimpressed by Harold putting the used, wet nappy onto the back of the sofa, followed by his girlfriend picking up the used terry with one hand and waving it around vigourously whilst talking, then chucking it on the floor in another room.(no nappy bucket)

When Demi had her baby on Eastenders there was a fleeting thing about using terries but she wouldn't despite her parents wanting her to! They gave quite a good argument too.

On the other hand, back when Steph's baby Charlie was younger, I saw Boyd put a bottle in the microwave to warm it, arguing to Janae that it was better than warming it in a jug of hot water.
