Help! How can I stop my son's nappy leaking diarrhoea?!

Hi guys - I really need some advice. My 4 month old has had very wet diarrhoea for a couple of days now but it doesn't seem to bother him (I'm booking a gp app if it doesn't improve by the end of today). His behaviour hasn't changed at all, but his nappies are leaking his poo everywhere. I've tried everything- I use pampers, normally the "dry" ones (green) because he sleeps through the night and needs them else he'll be soaked come morning. I switched back to the premium protection ones (white) as they've always held his poop better, and while there's an improvement it's still going everywhere SadI'm going through 4 pairs of clothes a day and they're getting ruined. Any advice is much appreciated!

A couple of days is a while for a little one. I would make a gp appointment today. I am sure they would rather see you and not.

No advise for nappies but I always find napisan gets poo out easily.

Is he teething? Saliva is a laxative.

I had this around the same age. Nothing worked as it just all came up the back. Went on for about 4 weeks. No cause (go had a sample tested) so I put it down to teething but the washing was endless

Gosh, yes he is teething but he's been teething for quite awhile- maybe it's gotten worse.

His feeding is the same as always- he's formula fed, and we've always stuck to the same one and he's having the same amount as normal.

I'll book a go app, and thanks guys!

He could be teething, my son always had horrible nappies with teething! We used Nature babycare Eco nappies with both of our children and they were very good and keeping it all in! Hope he's ok!

My DD had nappies like that for over a month due to an allergy issue. I had to go up a size on nappies, and also got the plus size for extra absorbency, still had some accidents though, the vanish soap bar was used a lot. Hope it clears up soon.
