Travelling with PFB

I'm travelling to Ireland this afternoon with almost 10 week old DD. Flight us really short - 25 minutes so not really worried about that or the getting to the airport bit.

I'm more worried about that fact that she will be seeing loads and loads of people over the next few days and in my mind will be more susceptible to getting sick (head cold or flu Sad). Also, DP is asthmatic and has animal allergies. My parent have a little dog and am worrying that DD has undiagnosed asthma and allergies that I don't know if and she'll have an asthma attack being in an environment with a let.

Am I being a ridiculous PFB parent? I'm second guessing bringing her even on such a short/close by trip when she's only 10 weeks old now!

Sorry for typos, breastfeeding and trying to type onehandedly

Little PFB.. But completely understandable

She will be fine. Just try to relax and enjoy your trip

In the gentlest way possible - yes, you are being a ridiculous PFB parent. Go, try to relax, remember your PFB has got lots of immunity from you and your milk.

Just as likely to pick up germs from the corner shop or the local baby group.

Thanks all, that was the reality check I needed. Will try to enjoy the trip!

Are you and PFB surviving? Is it as bad as you thought it might be?
