How long can my 2 week old sleep in his bouncy chair?

DS will fall asleep in his bouncy chair, but as sson as we transfer him to his cot he wakes up. I think he prefers being upright.

Anyway, how long can I let him sleep in his chair? I don't really think it supports his back very well, but he does need his sleep... At the moment, he is also swaddled and sitting in it (held in by the safety belt).

Any advice?

mine used to sleep there as long as he liked. It does support him, and if there was a problem then the manufacturers would tell you a limited time for them to sit in it. (I wouldn't leave him unattended though- mine didn't take long to learn to fling himself out!)
