Pocket nappy help needed

Hi,

My DD has slim legs and a sticky-outy tum, and the Nature Babies new style stuffables that we use often leak because they are not tight enough around her legs.

She also has rather runny poo, more often than not.

Does anyone know how I can get the leg elastic part of the nappies back to their new-bought colour? Just an ordinary 60 deg. C wash doesn't remove the staining...

I'd like to get them back to 'excellent' condition and maybe sell them on and try a different nappy.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hang them outside in the sun (limited at this time of the year I know)

As natural daylight/sun will slowly bleach out any stains in nappies.

It's the rubbery leg gussets that are discoloured, though, not the fleece or any natural fibre part of the nappy. Does the sunshine trick work for that, too?

While waiting for the sun to come out I shall spray some stain remover on the stains for the next wash. I was reluctant to do this in case the rubbery bits get damaged, but I'll try it on 1 and see what happens.
