Will my size one totsbots be big enough?

I am just making the move to re-usables and have bought size one totsbots for my 10wk (13lb) dd. They seem to be quite stretchy but a very snug fit. Am I going to get my money's worth, will they really go to 18lb? Advice needed please. Thanks.

Size 1 started leaking on DS when he hit 16lb so we moved up to size 2 (which then didn't leak). I think it's down to build rather than absolute weight, really. DS was very chubby of thigh at that point which was probably the issue.

I would say you are better off with the size 2. You won't get a lot of life from the size 1. I found with the Tots that they were a pain to put on, with all the padding in between the legs, so am selling mine on ebay :0) But the size 2 can be used birth to potty, so I would personally go for these. (I would go for Clwt twt or Sandys personally :0) )

Katya, I'm looking for size 2's if you haven't already posted on e-bay.

Sorry I don't have any size 2's, there are loads on the Nappy Lsdy Classifieds?

Not sure which Tots you're using, but if you like bamboo then try the Bambineo (Wham-Bamboo) nappies. The size twos will fit your 10wk old with the front folded down and nippad, and you can remove the booster to make it slimmer and less bulky between the legs which you can't with tots. They also fit bigger than tots as the hip tabs are wider, so are great for the older toddler.

They're also cheaper than Tots Bots :-)

Agree with lemonaid. Size 1s only lasted on DD til she was about 4 months but she is very chubby-thighed so put her into Size 2s then.
I sold my Size 1s on ebay and got about half the money back, which went towards the Size 2s.

My DS is still in size 1 at 5 months old, weighing 18 and a half pounds.
