Advice on washable nappies?

So we are expecting our first child and have been considering buying washable nappies and only using disposables for outings, etc.

Any advice from those who are or have experience of using these? And any recommendations on which are the best?

I love washable nappies. I like to have a mixture as different things work at different times. My favourite brand is little lambs for pockets and easy peasy (bumbles) for two part nappies (although I use a little lamb wrap).

Have you a cloth nappy library or trial kit in area?

Thank you both. Will check
