His family are not interested!!

Hello!
I recently had a baby and other halfs family do not seem at all interested. No one comes to visit us or even texts to ask how DD is. I feel heartbroken for her. DH has a sister with 2 boys and everyone seems to bother with her kids. I just don't get it and I feel hurt. Anyone else have this?

Could it be that are somewhat busy or that they think you are not welcoming for some reason?
