Me and DC1 who is 4 have had our biggest ever row tonight and I feel absolutely disgusting because I'm meant to be the grown up but sometimes your limit has just been totally pushed, what can I do to show her I'm sorry that doesn't look like a reward for her bad behaviour?

And please can someone tell me I'm not the only one Sad I feel like the biggest load of shit ever and I can't have Wine or Chocolate

Been there but I can have chocolate at least! I would say you could chat with her in the morning about the behaviour today and how you're sorry you shouted, but you need to find a better way to help her behave well. We use a calm down/thinking step and I've been known to sit on it myself if I'm getting hot headed!
