Would you let your 3 year old go play in street naked? On hot days. It's not a main Street or anything.

No

Lj8893 · 07/09/2016 13:36

Probably not, just in pants would be ok though. Call me a prude but I don't think anybody needs to be naked in public, regardless of age!

DesignedForLife · 07/09/2016 14:36

Not in the street no. Garden yes.

KingofnightvisionKingofinsight · 07/09/2016 14:38

On a small street, probably. I wouldn't encourage it but I wouldn't fight about it either. I would make sure, however, that she was in the shade so she didn't get a nasty sunburn.

Ineedwineplease · 07/09/2016 14:40

No.

Tiggeryoubastard · 07/09/2016 14:43

Street? No, of course I fucking wouldn't.

scrivette · 07/09/2016 14:45

No I don't like children to be naked as it doesn't feel hygienic to me and I always feel that their skin is more delicate in areas that are usually covered up, so more likely to burn.

MangosteenSoda · 07/09/2016 14:49

I live on a quiet, kid friendly street in a hot country. No one does this ever.

In own garden, yes. In street, absolutely not.

purpleme12 · 07/09/2016 16:50

Thank you to the ones who replied sensibly and kindly. She was playing with water in front garden and wouldn't keep her clothes on as they got wet. She didn't want to put different clothes on or a costume. It's a quiet street, quite small.

I think would have bought her indoors in that case, she would have soon put her cossie on then Grin

Timetogrowup2016 · 08/09/2016 08:29

Absolutely not.
Costume on or indoors.
You never know who could be looking/secretly taking photos etc even on a quite road

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/09/2016 08:31

Front garden isn't quite the street ,so in your situation I wouldn't have an issue with it.

gonetoseeamanaboutadog · 08/09/2016 08:49

No. Not the garden either. Pants are best if only to keep dirt out.

Helpful for young children to understand boundaries. Private parts can't be looked at or touched by others.
