How much do you spend on your KS2 child's after school activities?

DD is going into Y6 and I've just renewed all her activities and am flabbergasted at what we pay. I'd be intrigued to know if this is an unusual amount. I should probably add that we are in London so everything is expensive.

I spend £1200 a term on her clubs. Broken down as follows
Cello (1-1 lessons): £400 a term
Gymnastics (3 hours a week): £175 a term
11+ tutoring: £400 a term
Swimming club (2 hours a week): £100 a term
Drama club: £75 a term
Cubs: £50 a term

It's a long list of activities but she loves them all and isn't keen to stop any, except maybe tutoring which is necessary.

So do others end up paying similar?

Wow! I was lamenting my own additional expenditure hhis month but it's nothing compared to that. I'm in Liverpool. One DD, year 4. She does jazz, £50 a term, musical theatre, £60 a term, cubs £35 a term plus £30 for a 2 night camp and £90 for a term of gymnastics (which includes insurance and annual membership of British gymnastics).

I'm just happy as long as she is enjoying them and as an only child think its important for her to mix with different people. I do get a bit fed up of just sitting in the car waiting for her though

2 kids,

Dance (5 diff lessons) £175/ term

Swimming lessons ( 2 lessons/ week) £34/ month

Rugby £20/6 weeks

And hopefully brownies (need to find new group) £5/ week

11+ is very geographic specific, isn't it?
Cello is specialist, too.

I never spent that much on any of mine. I think I got to £40/month with the teen who did Cadets: most of that was transport costs.
