Have I missed the 'moment 'for night time training??

I'd be grateful for advice from more experienced mothers. My 3.5 yr old is dry during the day and dry at nursery school during her afternoon nap. She was also dry at night for a brief period a couple of months ago too - but owing to house renovations/general chaos in our lives I 'missed the moment' and didn't put her in pants before she went to bed - and now she is wetting her Huggies pull-ups at night and they leak sometimes as well! Does anyone know if there is 'a window of opportunity' for dryness at night which - once missed - never returns again? Or should I wait until she becomes dry at night again naturally (is this likely to happen?) before switching to pants?? I'm really confused about this and don't have ANY previous experience with children so would welcome any suggestions from more experienced 'hands'!! Thanks!

No, there isn't really a "window of opportunity". And really night-time dryness isn't something you can "train" children in - there's a hormone that kicks in which suppresses urination overnight, and until that happens they can't be dry.

I wouldn't worry unduly about it. If her nappies are leaking then try a different brand, but otherwise I'd leave it for now until she's dry on her own.

Agree, don't worry Pobblestoes. DS1 only became dry at night at the age of 6.7!
