10 months between DH and his older brother. That's just nasty. If I was MIL I would have kneed FIL in the bollocks and told him to come back next year. Mind you, I would have just kneed FIL in the bollocks for no reason anyway. She then had 2 more within the following 3 years. MIL and FIL separated - wonder why?

mosschops30 · 31/01/2007 16:52

doesnt say much about me, theres 8 years between dd and ds

Tutter · 31/01/2007 16:53

i think they should be executed

along with parents with large gaps between ds

piglit · 31/01/2007 16:54

I have 54 weeks between my dses.

I believed that old chestnut about not getting pg if you were exclusively breastfeeding. [silly cow emoticon]

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 31/01/2007 16:56

barking

in fact I think people should only be allowed to have one child, that way they would avoid people judging them based on the size of the age gap.

handlemecarefully · 31/01/2007 16:56

Now if we are to have a proper discussion, define "small"

lady007pink · 31/01/2007 17:55

What do I think? Very, very brave...

danceswithnewboots · 31/01/2007 18:15

19 months between mine. I think feckin hard work for at least the first year.

flutterbee · 31/01/2007 18:28

My Mum has got kids ranging from 36-15 the smallest age gap is 13 months and the largest is 7 years.

I don't think shes boasting about her fertility, I think she's just stupid and sex mad

Can't believe I have just said that about my own Mum

wotzsaname · 31/01/2007 18:30

never have given it a moments thought till now....ah and now that moments passed too. why worry, be happy.

belgianmama · 31/01/2007 18:31

They're brave or just very unlucky

PeachyClair · 31/01/2007 18:32

13.5 months between mine

not sex mad, there were good reasons at the time

cant see why anyone wuld judge me on it

therocketfuellednorris · 31/01/2007 18:41

Well, there's only a minute between two of mine!

lucykate · 31/01/2007 18:48

there is only 10.5 months between me and one of my brothers, wasn't planned, but my mum says it wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be because we were both good sleepers from early on.

twelveyeargap · 31/01/2007 19:14

Twelve years between DD1 and the DD2 due in May. Perhaps I need to stay in more?

softmusk · 31/01/2007 19:42

there are 14 monthes between and i 25 but look younger i do feel like people look down at me some times like i some free loading scum even more when my dh is with me on weeks days (as he works funny shifts)

Flumpytina · 31/01/2007 19:49

There are 15 months between my dd1 & dd2...not really planned (that's what comes of celebrating giving up bf by drinking FAR too much red wine)!

Everyone we know thinks we are complete fools, but that maybe due to DH being a GP with a diploma in family planning (you'd think he'd know how to not make babies).

Anyway I don't regret it now as the two of them get on so well together.

IntergalacticWalrus · 31/01/2007 19:52

21 months between DS1 and DS2.

I'm living proof it only takes the once (after red wine at Xmas)

IntergalacticWalrus · 31/01/2007 19:53

Sorry, I'm not living proof, DS2 is living proof.

I don;t want to think about how I was conceived, thank you very much. [Yuck! Parents shagging emoticon]

MegaLegs · 31/01/2007 19:56

DS1 - DS2 19 months
DS2 - DS3 26 months
DS3 - DS4 23 months.
Not sex mad - we hardly ever have sex but we're just too good at it obviously (and I should learn not to listen to dh when he says "he'll be really careful".)
