Accidentally gave my son DIRTY tap water!

A little ago, I realised my tap water was dirty. The worst thing was I just give my one year old son a drink in his dark blue sippy cup so wouldn't of realised it was dirty behind the blue. I don't he has drank huge amounts of it. Should I be worried?

Probably not, I used to work for a water company, chances are it's just rust

Don't worry too much :)

I'm sure you'll be extra careful next time :)

In what way was it dirty? UK mains water should be safe to drink unless the water company have notified you otherwise. Sometimes my water looks cloudy but its a pressure problem and the grey, cloudy look is just tiny bubbles which clear when it settles.

I'd just keep a close eye on him, maybe keep a sample of the water and call 111 if he has any symptoms.

Sorry, discoloured is probably a better word. But it was pretty brown. He seems ok though! Smile
