What's the weirdest request you've given into? (Lighthearted)

I was in sainsburys and a little boy, maybe 2 toddled up and put some of those ice lollies that come as liquid into my basket.
His mum apologised and put them back on the shelf to her little boys horror.

He really wanted these lolly things but his mum said they didn't have a freezer.
He sat on the floor and looked so sad so she said 'oh don't be sad, what baby wants, baby gets!'

My first reaction was a bit judgey and I thought it was terrible parenting to give in to something so silly but then I thought heck, maybe she's had a shit day and couldn't take anymore or another scream down in a shop.

My babies are only 4 months so no experience of this but it got me thinking about what's to come..

So what's the weirdest thing you've done or given into to avoid a tantrum or cry-down?

Light hearted non judgey thread please Wink
