dd2 declared, " i am bigger now" and refused to wear a nappy to bed last night, she'll be 3 in march and has been dry in the day since the summer. I put it on, she took it off, twice and it was off but wet this morning. So, i prepared for tonight with waterproof sheet, swopped the lovely warm feather duvet for a washable one and got a pile of sheets ready. Placed potty in her room, kissed, turned out light and went off to play netball, leaving dc's in the hands of dh (currently suffering from man flu). Got back, note on table dd2 given calpol. I log on here with a sarnie, reflecting n the defeat on court when dd2 cries. I real;ise she's in our bedroom and go in. We have 2 single beds pushed together, dd2 in my side " you did put a nappy on before bringing her in here didn't you?" muffled, "no, she promised not to wwee....! So now, I've changed dd into new2 and dry - with a nappy, put on the washer, mopped off and anti-bacced my mattress, propped against radiator, left sick hubby alone in our room (so i don't kill him!) to recover, dd2 back in her bed and i'm contemplating a night on the living room floor on a fold out mattress.... arghh!
