Getting medicine into unwilling toddler!

Hi everyone, any tips on getting medicine into my DS, aged 2 1/2? He is big for his age and really strong, so it's a real battle. Luckily so far he has been a pretty healthy boy apart from some eczema which at least only needs creams, but he has a temperature today, I have tried giving him medicine with syringes, spoons, trying to disguise it in other stuff, so far nothing has worked! He doesn't seem yet to understand that if he has calpol now, he will feel better soon. I am sure that will come, but what do I do in the meantime? There is no partner to help hold him down!!!

Bribery with a chocolate button?

Thanks for the idea Sputnik, but I have now solved the problem. Bribery doesn't work with him but I will tell you what has - Disprol! It's a dispersable tablet of paracetamol for kids, you can mix it with anything like juice or lemonade or whatever, he had it in lemonade and said it was nice!
I just wish all other meds kids might need, that usually come in a syrup form, were available in a dispersable tablet. I must ask the gp next time he needs anything!
