Alternative to Connecta?!

I desperately want a Connecta Carrier but I they seem to be out of stock everywhere! I'm especially cross as I has the gorgeous Liberty Mauverina print one in my M and S shopping basket online earlier and by the time I checked out, it was out of stock! I'm not a fan of stretchy wrap slings and I really need one in the next week so can't wait for a restock on the Connecta site. Can anyone recommend anything similar?

Lots of places are gradually getting stock - sling spot for one.

I've also got a Rose and Rebellion and it's the most comfortable carrier ever. I love it! I am also getting a Sleepy Nico though - I possibly have a bit of a habit....

I'd defo go for Tula over connecta, they have much more padding on the shoulders and waistband which you won't notice now but once LO gets bigger you'll need! I ordered mine from slingsandthings.co.uk

The ABC is very similar to a connecta, just with slightly more padding. Can still cross straps, unlike a Tula. Not sure whether you can use it for a newborn or not.

I would get a second hand stretchy wrap for a new born and move onto a Connecta in a few months when you can get one you like.

I joined my local baby wearing group and said I was looking out for a Connecta- someone found me one on a local buy/sell forum and I contacted the seller and she was willing to post it to me- it's a Solarweave which is brilliant at this time of year.
I used a Caboo close for the first three months and found it brilliant. I also borrowed an Ergo to try from local sling library but didn't like it as much as Connecta. Ergo was slightly comfier but I wanted sling that was small enough to keep under pushchair.
