Tongue tie- 7 month old

Does anyone have any experience of having their baby's tongue tie snipped at 7 months old? I can only seem to find stories of younger babies online and wondered if they would have to use general anaesthetic at this age. If anyone can give any advice I would appreciate it.

I had my boys done at 6 months, no general anathestic needed. I did have to go private though, I know Milk Matters in Huddersfield is highly regarded and do it up to a year I think

I was told that GA was needed after 6 months.

However I believe there are a few specialist dentists (eg Malcom Levinkind) who use laser, and that does not need GA.
