What is the going rate for ear piercing please?
Was quoted £50 at Clare's today for my daughter!!! I was so shocked - thought it would be £15 ish.
What has everyone else paid recently please?
Thanks.

Yes for two ears that's about right! Though I would recommend finding a local independent piecing place as they tend to be better than Claire's.

I had a cartilage piercing at a professional piercing salon a few weeks ago. It was £25. I highly recommend a piercing place which uses needles, rather than Claire's, who are undertrained and use guns, which damage as they pierce and are not sterile.

Took DD to a hair salon and it was £25 for both ears. That was this week. It was worth shopping around and talking to people and I felt that a smaller salon has more at stake to get it right (i.e. local reputation) rather than a nationwide company like Claire's.

Go to a proper piercing studio, Claire's aren't nearly as good. Much cheaper in a piercing studio and cleaner too. Be £30 max.

£50?? crikey. I took my daughter in December and I think it was only £15 - bloody hell, I can't remember!
