Sour acidic smelling poo in EBF 5 month old, opinions?

In the last month or so my EBF 5 month old DC has started having really sour acidic smelling poos every single time.

They smell like bio yoghurt gone off and are really strong smelling.

This has coincided with him starting to poo only once a day so no idea if the two are related.

I'd read it could be an intolerance to something I'm eating but is it normal for this to just appear at 4 months?

Please help wise MNers, don't know what to do!

I don't know, but teething poos always smell very sickly and acidic to me.

Is he/she drooling a lot or have any other signs of teeth shifting about?

You've perfectly described the smell of my ds's teething poo!

Yup, sounds like teething to me as well - DD's stank of vinegar when she was teething (and started around 3 months - 1st tooth didn't appear until 9 months... Sad)

Teething, without a doubt.

Saw the title, thought 'oh dear, teething time'. Get the calpol/amber necklace/Ashton and Parsons/that thing you rub on their gums the name of which has fallen out of my head ready.
