My little 10 month old boy is into everything. What sort of games/activities should I be doing with him now. He's happy playing on his own but should I be starting to do crafty things with paint and the like?

Make jelly, then sit him in the high chair and let him smooth ot around and squeeze it. And because it's jelly it won't matter if it goes in his mouth. Grin
Baking, so make cookies and give him some dough to play with.

He will enjoy any sensory activities, so games with bubbles, paint, play-doh (you can make your own quite cheaply), dry pasta, water etc.
Now is a really good time of year to buy a cheap washing up bowl, fill it with water and washing up liquid and go out in the garden to slosh it about. Also hand and finger painting in the garden is always less stressful.

Well we enjoyed playing with bocks, big wooden cars, books and puzzle shape stuff at that age - it's more about engaging with them than actually what the activity is tbh. Singing and music shakers, are good too and water play. We used to put a squirt of watered down chocolate sauce on their high chair table and let them "draw" in it with their fingers and it didn't matter if they put their hands in their mouths too much :) encourage fine motor skills with rice krispies or peas on the tray and get them to move them from tub to tub - again doesn't matter if they get eaten.

If he is getting about, a little tent is really fun even indoors - good for hide and seek and teddy bears picnics
