tots bots fluffles are huge!

I've been using bambino mio prefolds on my dd since birth and have been really pleased. But now I seem to be getting poo on the nappy covers each time she poos. I've heard a lot about tots bots so I bought a fluffle -its massive and looks ridiculous compared to the sleek mios. Any advice anyone? Perhaps different covers or fold??????

I found that when I used prefolds ds always ended up with poo on the wraps. I'm afraid the only way I found round this problem was to buy a couple more wraps. The fluffles are very bulky. I think they are the bulkiest of Tots range. The bamboozles are much slimmer but take forever to dry which is a pain at the moment. However he's never had poo leakage with a bamboozle so it might be worth you trying a bamboo nappy. Depending on what size you get you should be able to use your bambino mio covers over them.

cheers for that, i thought that might be the case. i was going to get a bamboo nappy to try but was put off by the drying times. perhaps i'll have to rethink my strategy!!

Fluffles are very fluffy, but they're so soft I can't resist them. they do go down a bit after a while, but mine have never ever leaked (onto second child now).

I have just got a fluffle how long does it go for? How much bosting would it need to go all night?
I think they are nothing bulk wise compared to the original towelling tots bots I had for DD.
I started out in cloth using the mios and soon found so many better nappies out there.
I prefer stuffable nappies cause you can make them less bulky depending on what you use to stuff them with bought the fluffle cause it was just too cute.

we use fluffle and also tots bots rainbow and bamboozles. The fluffles won't last the night for us - I think the bamboozles and original tots bots are more absorbent. After many a wet night, we ended up getting minkies huggles which are huge huge, but last the night. Paola

I could not beleive the size of a fluffle when it arrived in a parcel from a supplier. No way would that fit comfortably under my boys trousers. So I passed it on to a friend who has a dd and it works fine under dresses. With boys I think its more important to get slimmer fitting otherwise all their bits and pieces are crushed by a nappy under their trousers.
