and the author please. My 5 year old is driving me insane and I'm looking for words of wisdom. Lots of M/netters have talked about this book. Anyone please? TIA

Thanks! Will give it a go - anythings worth a try at the moment dd just yelled "everything was fine until you came along. You've spoiled everything" At his worst moments, I can see why she thinks it!

There is one I read called Real Boys, explains the boy psyche and how to relate to them in a way they will respond. I found it very good.

I agree that Raising Boys is very good.

Along similar, but more thourough lines I'd recommend Raising a Son which I found great.

I have three boys so I know a bit about your struggle. Good luck.

I think Steve Biddulph is a very sensible, caring person with lots of experience. I rate his books and his advice highly

"That's my Boy" by Jenni Murray is also good
