Dinner then bath

Hi everyone.

What is the minimum time you would leave between giving your little one dinner and then giving them a bath? Thanks in advance.

DD is 8 months, if that makes a difference!

Minimum is about 2 mins.
If it is that bad I send dh up to run it :)

NarcyCow · 12/07/2016 18:14

Is there a reason to have a break between?

30 minutes to let food go down

About 30 seconds! Are you maybe thinking of the not eating before swimming thing? That's because it could conceivably cause cramp, meaning you couldn't swim, but presumably your 8 month old isn't swimming in the bath, so it should be fine. :)

TeaBelle · 12/07/2016 18:16

But I should add that it's just a personal preference, I'm not claiming that it's'right'

A few days. But we've never done daily baths for the kids.

Dweeby · 12/07/2016 18:37

Haha- no she isn't swimming in the bath Grin
I thought there was something that it churns up their food but I also had a feeling it might have been a myth. Thanks for your replies guys Smile
