Day napping at home

Baby is now too big for his Moses basket. What's the graduation from the Moses basket as an informal but comfortable place for him to nap? DS is 5 months

We are usually downstairs away from his Co-sleeper (we're looking for a cot for him also), and he has two good naps during the day. He's that baby who wakes easily when moved too far. So the Moses was handy, but I've had no real answer regarding this from family (where kids napped on sofa or in arms most of the time).

Help! Confused

Sheepskin rug on floor

A toddlepod type thing?

Cot in room? My dc would never sleep with all the going on of a household from about 4 weeks so both started napping upstairs at that time.

Mine slept in their buggy.

Oooh that's for the responses!

Artandco we have a fluffy rug plus his playmat, but he doesn't entertain sleeping on the floor. He did once a while ago, I got happy, but he never did again. I've even tried laying down with him but he'll see me there and start playing.

Alice never heard of a toddle pod, I'll be looking that up! Thank you!

Diggers I don't know what it is, but I have not successfully been able to take him upstairs, while asleep or drowsy, and then he'll sleep soon after. The process wakes him up and he wants to play. He's a light sleeper I guess.

Nap Queen your name is my aspiration! He will only sleep in his buggy when we go out for a walk or drive. Oh I have tried!

Maybe buy s travel cot if you have enough space, it'll come in useful for other things too.
