My 9mo DS has always slept on his front and this week due to the amount of urine his nappies have been bursting at the top (nr his belly button). It's almost like silican gel when they burst and it gets EVERYWHERE so any info would be great!!!

He wears Pampers which have always been good, but i was hoping that someone may have some advice. He wont sleep on his front.

try a larger size nappy at night- with more area to absorb?

Thank you, that could be worth a go.... I've tried pulling the ones he's wearing at the moment right up, but he seems to wriggle them down...

If they explode it's usually cos they are too full

try a bigger size as noonar suggests or babydry if you're not using those already

ps, i know what it's like, as i once took dd2 swimming and forgot the swim nappy. i thought i could get awy with a normal one, but it burst all over the changing room floor

just wanted to warn you that the gel stuff is harmful if swallowed. If the large size doesn't help perhaps boost it inside with washable pads or I think you can get disposable nappy pads in larger boots?
