My ds woke up at 7ish this morning. Had a a 2 hour nap about 1 and now he fell asleep in his cot at 5 and still is asleep at his normal bed time. Is it normal for him to sleep this long? As he'll probably not get up till half 6 or 7 tomorrow?

Hi my 4 month old sleeps 9pm till 6, then sleeps for an hour normally before 9am.... Then naps during the day for about 20 mins each. Some days she does not nap at all. Is his temperature OK.... As it's been warm today and baby's stay asleep longer when too warm???

He's been feeling fine. I he's noisy self. But he woke up earlier than he normally does and to be fair he hardly sleeps in the day. Saturday he didn't have a nap at all and Monday he only had two half hours and stayed up past his bed time as he wouldn't settle till dp/his dad got back

He's also been more active today. I been in his bouncer most of the day. Could he worn himself out or catching up on his sleep

He's probably worn himself out. My little one (5 months 3 weeks) has about 3/4 naps through the day that range from 10 minutes to 2/3 hours! Unless he has a temperature, rash, high pitched cry or any sign that he isn't himself WHEN HE'S AWAKE, I wouldn't be worried. If he's drowsy when he's awake, or floppy obviously give someone a ring, but I'm sure you would do that anyway.

Don't forget they still have growth spurts that tire them out at this age, even though you might not notice it :)

I got him weighed today and spoke to the HV and they went he's probably having a growth spurt. he's been more awake today.
