My five months old is on Pepti 1 and has been since 3 months as she has a cows milk allergy. She was referred to a nutritionist who encouraged early weaning. Since I started (baby led, mostly vegetables) three weeks ago, she has gone from having 2 dirty nappies a day to pooing constantly, often diarrhoea and terrible nappy rash. She is soaking through her sheets every night. I stopped weaning after 3 days but the problem is not getting better. She is otherwise healthy. The GP is reluctant to see a baby with diarrhoea for fear of it spreading. I am so worried.
