Hello, tried potty training my ds (now 2.9) back at beginning of November with only a little success. Would be sit on potty and would wee and poo, but would not ask to go!

Anyhow he has started pre-school and come May will be going 3 times a week and they want him potty trained by then. I can take a week off work (part time) in February and am aiming to try again then.

Anyone like to join me/give any advice. Am scared!!!!!!!

The best advice i was given was to make sure you increase their drinking. Reason being their bladders get full more times a day and the link between potty/toilet and wee becomes more apparent to them.
If like mine they love Postman Pat then sitting on potty while they absorbed in watching it has worked for me. They arent holding the wee in as not thinking about it and often go naturally. Hope that makes sense! Good luck- I'm just gonna start with DS2 so am thinking of you!!
