Hi Lisa,
I recently took dd to a friend's birthday party and they had an entertainer there who was IMO very good. A bit cheesy but he really captured the children's attention (3-4 year olds), they were really captivated. The show included magic, puppets, singing, a pink rabbit, balloon modelling, games, and lots more I forget. I am in East London and the company is called Magic and Fun Children's Shows, it is in Romford, so perhaps that would do for you? Anyway their number is 01708 723100/731515. HTH

Ah sorry Lisa, just re-read your post, thought you said North London. Still, maybe it's worth giving them a call anyway.

I don't know anything about these people, but saw an advert for KidzParties (www.kidzparties.biz). They're in W. Hampstead.

Have used Graham Lee, for my daughters 5th birthday. Also seen him at school events and other parties. He's excellent with kids, and the magic is fantastic! Even produces doves and rabbit from thin air!
He seems to have branched out into balloons - magic great.
