Entertaining my baby

I know this might sound daft, but I don't know how to entertain my 3 month old DS! I feel as though he gets bored easily and I don't know how to fill in the gaps between nap time!
Any advice or ideas?

Don't bother.

There are years and years and years to fill with entertaining your kids. It's shit, why start before you need to?

Everything is interesting at this age so just give him things to look at, sing to him, go for walks so he can see the trees etc. He can just watch you doing housework or cooking while you chat to him. Rather than bored he's more likely tired and having a rest, they get overstimulated quite quickly.

You don't need to entertain a 3 month old so don't worry.
Go out for walks, put him in a bouncer while you get on with stuff put him on a playmat, play music on the radio, talk.

My 3 month old lies on his play Mat and watched me play with his brother. He's perfectly happy as long as he can see or hear us.

Mine sort of demands to be fussed over here and there. I sing her songs, sometimes putting her name in if I can.

I also wiggle and kiss her hands and feet and pinch her nose and cheeks. I take her to the mirror to see our reflections and take her to windows to discuss what a outside.

She's just getting interested in toys so I waggle them at her a bit too and get her to touch the textured ones. I also sit her up and roll her and help with push ups.

DD loves it when I read her stories - the same stories again and again, and stories with lots of rhyme etc. She is also three months, and I think she just likes being talked to.

She also likes looking at patterns, watching other children, and discovering her own body parts.

Just let him get on with it - chat to him, let him observe his surroundings.
