Entertaining my 7month old is proving so difficult especially first thing in morning !! What's your routines with play etc? My LO doesn't like being left for a second.

Can your LO sit up unaided? I used to potter round the kitchen chatting to DS and gave him a number of plastic kitchen bowls and things to put in and take out of them. Or sat him in his baby seat and just chartered to him about what I was doing.

I don't think at 7 months they necessarily need to be played with or entertained per se - I think they just like being near you and watching you/hearing you.
