2nd molars how long do they take to cut?

DD 2.1 has been teething her second molars for what seems like months! Her bottom ones started to move in November and still haven't cut. They were just huge bumps for months and seem to have flattened down now and I can see white under the gum. But top ones are now huge bumps How long did it take your DCs to cut their 2nd molars? All her other teeth were much quicker than these!

Erm, no idea because my 2 year old won't let me look in his mouth?

Don't know exactly but months. We've only got the bottom two, after months of teething symptoms. And once they'd actually cut through they took maybe a month or so to fully come through. No sign as yet of the top two..

Lovely sounds like we've got a few more months of the dreaded teething ahead! Dd is currently very snotty and has that annoying tickly cough which she always gets when teething. Was hoping her teeth phase would be done by 2- these are dragging now!
