Tips for DD starting new secondary school

DD is going to secondary school and won't know any other children.

She's nervous about making new friends.

Any tips or advice for her?

I've suggested asking questions to find out more about people.

Joining in with clubs then she can meet people with similar interests.

Good idea - she's quite into social media so also suggested using this as a starting point for conversation.
